LUC SANTE, who has just released a collection of his essays entitle Kill All Your Darlins, has long been a local in various ways, from teaching at nearby Bard to living in Roxbury, Kingston and the suburbs of Olive. He will be joining poets Jana Martin and Frank Bayer, both major writers of a similar ilk, in a special reading at the American General Store in West Shokan at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 2. Call 657-7762 for reservations... space is limited. And hey, get out there and check out the scene before it’s set to disappear in early December.
