It was over two months ago when environmental groups that signed onto an agreement with the developers proposing the Belleayre Resort at Catskill Park warned they would back out of the deal should those developers not transfer 1200 acres of land in the Big Indian area to the State of New York for protection within 60 days.

12/3/2009 By Carol La Monda                                                        The turkey leftovers are still lurking in the fridge, and the effects of Tryptophan and football have lulled me into inertia. Perhaps my body knows it needs to rest before the holiday season moves into high gear. Already, the colors of fall are obsolescing, and everything red and green or silver and blue have replaced the orange and browns.
