Mariella
Bisson, a resident of the Samsonville area, is a master
landscape artist who works in a collage format piecing together
her own painting on paper and canvas to give her depictions of local
waterfalls and other scenic wonders the complexity and awesomeness
of real nature, true geology. Originally from the Northeast Kingdom
of Vermont, she’s found that the Catskills more than reflect
the world she grew up in... they are of a specialness all their
own that she says will keep her here, now, for posterity. Talk about
the rest of us being blessed. A show of her recent works, monumental
in scale and effort, can be seen at Elena Zang Gallery on Route
212 in Shady, between Mt. Tremper and Woodstock. Visit www.mariellabisson.com
or www.elenazang.com for further information.
