be showing her photos of Africa throughout February at the Hudson
United Bank in Woodstock. Eisenson lived in Zambia and volunteered
in a Refugee Settlement, which the current show will benefit.

Town Sets March 2 Meeting To Discuss Impending
Release Of Tax Reval Findings

A public meeting has been tentatively set for Thursday, March
2 at the Olive Meeting Hall on Bostock Road to discuss progress
on the town’s first revaluation of tax assessments in
many moons, at which time Reval Project Supervisor Steve Beccio
of New Paltz will discuss the property value impact notices
which will be going out to all Olive property owners in March.

Discussing Future School Changes

Speaking to a full audience of concerned parents and community
members, Scott Hillje and Armand Quadrini of KSQ architects
presented their recommendations on school configurations at
a school board meeting in Phoenicia, on February 7. As mandated
by the State Department of Education, a study must be conducted
on the facilities every five years, but a middle school steering
committee and the future of the district committee recommended
further studies. New federal education standards and the reduction
of student population have taken priority in what the district
will look like in the future.
