for the disposal of flags as well as interaction between humans.
On June 7, the American Legion disposed of over 100 faded and
tattered stars and stripes collected from the community in a
moving ceremony in advance of Flag Day on Tuesday, June 14.
The Post started up the old ceremonies a few years back as part
of a national return to patriotism and, as the Legion calls
it, “Americanism.

Kick-Off” public meeting on May 26, outlining the steps
which could, conceivably, land a wastewater treatment plant
in Boiceville. Engineers Liz Mastrianni and Tom DeJohn from
the Catskill Watershed Corporation (CWC) joined Lamont, assistant
project engineer Julie Barown and engineering technician Chris
Yacobucci in the presentation.
