SHANDAKEN CALENDAR
ELLEN NIEVES, A longtime resident of Boiceville, and Phoenicia before that, is one of the region’s most accomplished landscape artists, selling regularly out of the Woodstock Framing Gallery and other sites up here and in the city. Her latest series of paintings depict her, at various stages in her childhood, as she learned lessons from nature.
