ARTISAN SCULPTURE... Wendy Klein of Mt. Tremper, one of whose leather works is seen here, will be one of the featured artists at the new Artisan Sculptor exhibition opening  Saturday, July 3rd from 4-6 PM at the Catskill Mountain Foundation in Hunter. The exhibit showcases work by five celebrated area artists who create both fine art and fine crafts.  The following weekend, July 10 and 11, will be the annual Mountain Culture Festival, one of the great events up here this time of year featuring world music, lots of crafts and gifts, good food, and fun for both the kids and their adult friends. It all takes place at the new Hunter Village Square, 7968 Main Street/Route 23A, Hunter, NY (across from CMF Movie Theater). Call the Gallery at 518/263-4291  or the CMF‚s information number at 518/263-4908 . Then again, you can also just type in www.catskillmtn.org and get it all in one swoop.
