That’s according to Shandaken Town Clerk Laurilyn Frasier, who said last week that only nine absentee ballots remain out.
There are, however, many questions remaining about the fate of the project and of the hamlet.

Catskill Ski Resorts Are Hoping They’ll Now Get A Fabulous Seasonal Finish
2/15//2007By Paul Smart

2/15/2007 By Paul Smart
State Senator John Bonacic’s looking good these days. Always a natty dresser and quick smiler, his public appearance has been augmented by a knowing look in his eye that’s always press-ready of late. Suffice it to say that his failed attempt to route powerful Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno last month and long, closed-door meetings with new Governor Eliot Spitzer in recent weeks, have fueled the sort of media attention this veteran campaigner seems to thrive on.
